About the Role:

We are currently looking for a Director/Vice President of Project development to join our Asset Management team.

What you will do:

• Manage development of greenfield and brownfield renewable and nonrenewable generation projects
• Evaluate business cases, estimate returns, budgets, cash flow
• Prepare presentations related to projects and development status
• Act as an agent of the company with counterparties, regulatory bodies, elected officials and others as necessary

We want you on our team because you…

• Hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science or a related field
• Have 10+ years professional experience in the energy industry preferably in developing and constructing utility scale infrastructure projects over $10m
• Can effectively manage multiple assignments under time constraints.
• Are solution focused team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
• Possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Can work independently with direction on a regular basis.
• Have professional interest in energy technologies including fossil fuels, wind, solar, hydroelectric, and battery storage.
• Have experience preparing, negotiating and closing commercial agreements including development agreements, real estate agreements, consulting and service agreements, interconnection and power sales agreements, etc.
• Have experience in the siting, permitting and interconnection of electric power projects.
