Compensation

The salary for this role is $20hr - $24hr. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in (US).  This salary range may also be modified in the future.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Development Intern to join our Renewable Development Team for an exciting summer internship. This role offers hands-on experience in renewable energy project development, with the opportunity to work on large-scale projects. You’ll collaborate with industry professionals, contribute to real-world initiatives, and gain valuable insight into wind energy development, permitting, and feasibility analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Support site selection and feasibility studies for wind energy projects
• Assist with data analysis, GIS mapping, and wind resource assessments
• Research regulatory frameworks and permitting requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams on project development strategies
• Participate in stakeholder engagement and community outreach efforts
• Field work/site visits, to shadow a developer during community outreach campaigns, land acquisition campaigns, and micro-siting.
