About the Role:
This role will support a wide variety of legal administrative and support/clerical duties for professional staff. Work performed will include a broad range of responsibilities involving legal and/or confidential information such as record-keeping (including scanning and filing using a variety of filing systems/platforms), support with corporate housekeeping and assistance with processing vendor bills.
The position entails working with all levels of internal staff across multiple offices and will also require communication with outside vendors/law firms.
This is an on-site, part-time internship in our office in East Brunswick, New Jersey, requiring approximately 10 to 15 hours of work each week. The hours are flexible but must be worked during our team’s core business hours, which are 8:30 am through 6 pm. Candidate availability on Tuesdays through Thursdays is strongly preferred.
The duration of this internship is expected to be 10 to 12 weeks.

Compensation
The salary for this role is $150,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for an EMS analyst to support the regulated electric transmission business of LS Power. This position will be part of the EMS (Energy Management System) group and will be reporting to the EMS Manager. You will be responsible for effective provisioning, troubleshooting, operation and maintenance of EMS software and its respective interfaces. As the EMS Analyst, you will ensure that EMS provides LSP’s System Operators with all information required to safely operate the CTT & affiliate Transmission Systems while maintaining the highest level of reliable service. You will perform all tasks in a manner compliant with LSP’s and company affiliate’s NERC CIP cyber security policy and procedures. You will support regulatory compliance by monitoring systems and collecting required information and evidence to fulfill the company’s compliance obligations. In addition, you will also serve as a key technical resource on any future EMS projects. This position will operate in a cross functional capacity working closely with LSP system operators, substation maintenance personnel, the EMS vendor, ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) and PJM representatives, and other staff including engineers, technicians and information technology resources. This role will be subject to periodic on-call assignments, which are scheduled and compensated according to LSP policy.

This position supports the regulated electric transmission business of LS Power. Specifically, this position will be based in California and be responsible for protective relaying and SCADA/communication systems at newly constructed STATCOM transmission facilities in central and northern California. The job scope involves protective relays, SCADA and communication gear, metering equipment and high-voltage equipment including switchgear, SF6 circuit breakers, power electronics and disconnect switches. The successful candidate will be an experienced Relay Technician with the requisite training and vocational experience to perform the job requirements with the highest regard to safety and professionalism.

About the Role:
This position supports in the creation, implementation and administration of Health, Safety and Environmental programs, and will focus on reporting, data capturing, and analytical support to the business. You will assist in analyzing and generating project site key performance indicators based on facts and data. In this role you will be responsible for providing specialized technical support to the HSE team. The day to day include report generation, data visualization, implementation, and management of HSE software, creation, and upkeep of project dashboards. The candidate will also maintain Environmental reporting calendars and assure all scheduled reports are filed with the correct entities for each of our utilities. This position will also include occasional travel to/from remote construction sites and office locations across North America. As the role progresses increasing level of responsibility and opportunities will include Site Safety audits, environmental site audits and leading safety and/or environmental training courses and initiatives.
